A New Balance in the World
Mars & Pallas Direct  - July 18, 2001

     We began the very significant Mars-Chiron cycle in May. "Metamorphosis of the Patriarchal Force in the World" is the Mars-Chiron retrograde theme. The Mars-Chiron cycle is a period for phenomenal healing of the masculine, creative force in the world; one establishing new neurological circuitry within our beings to make possible the expression of this creative force in far healthier ways. This cycle is a significant catalyst in the refinement of the patriarchal principle, helping to re-establish the Divine Masculine on Earth--a force that is truly nourishing in its capacity to use power (rather than one gone awry). The completion of the retrograde period of Mars now marks the completion of the redefining period of this force in our lives. It is now time to demonstrate the changes we have made within. In August, the entire Mars-Chiron cycle will be sealed, with our new neurological coding fully integrated.

     Occurring concurrently with the Mars retrograde period was the Pallas retrograde period in the constellation of Hercules. Pallas began its retrograde on April 5, and synchronistically completes its retrograde at the same time with Mars on July 19--on the Balsamic Moon of this Lunar Cycle.
 

Wisdom of the God-Man

    Mars completes its retrograde cycle in alignment with the very same star that Pallas aligned with when she began her retrograde cycle back in April--Ras Algethi, Head of the God-Man Hercules. In addition to Pallas and Mars completing their cycles at the same time, this is another phenomenal synchronicity uniting these two. Mars governs our base chakra, reproductive organs: testicles, ovaries, and adrenals. This force drives our sexual eroticism, passion and will, and governs the application of our creative force in the world. Pallas works with the second chakra and the balance of the liver and spleen-- balance of the masculine / feminine principles as they express in interpersonal relationship. The synchronous retrograde cycles of Mars and Pallas effected a principle maturing of the masculine force, and a re-balancing of the masculine / feminine principles in our lives.
     Pallas often expresses as spiteful withdrawal of the feminine due to judgements about awry use of masculine power. Evolved Pallas expresses creative Intelligence beyond the judgements of who's right / who's wrong--by claiming the wisdom of having been on both sides of the fence at one time or another. Now, both facets of our consciousness have experienced phenomenal changes as Mars and Pallas traversed the astronomical intelligence guiding the evolutionary destiny of these two principles.
     We had explored the embracing backdrop in which Hercules resides in the May 22 Issue of the Lunar Planner--including the Virgin giving birth into the re-incarnational clutches of the Scorpion; the teachings of the Centaur and the Southern Cross; and Ophiuchus, the Serpent and the Northern Crown. This mythical imaging of the Heavens articulates the entrapping, re-incarnational process of the soul, and the ultimate attainment of the soul's graduation from this process of growth.
     Within this backdrop, Hercules stands upside down in the Heavens, with his feet (foundation and heritage) in the realm of the gods, and his head and hands (intelligence and work) in the incarnate world. Hercules aids those on Earth to awaken to and claim their Divine Birthright.
     Ras Algethi, Alpha Hercules, embodies the essence and knowledge of Hercules. Ras Algethi indicates one of another realm whose presence upon this solar system's (soul's) incarnational plane is of a service capacity and mission of evolutionary proportion. Ras Algethi is of undaunted dedication of one's entirety of being to ensure the evolutionary freedom for all souls entrapped on the Earth plane.
     This Mars / Ras Algethi alignment marks the time for demonstrable application of the Divine Masculine principle embodied by Hercules in and through the masculine creative force in the world. The new neurological circuitry evolved throughout this retrograde period makes this possible.
     Mars is our vitality and power to initiate action, to create and to lead. As a power that genetically had been severed, lost, frustrated, and gone awry on Earth, this raw creative force can now express with a new Guiding Wisdom. Mature and empowered Mars brings abilities of leadership, and is self reliant, audacious, brave and victorious.

     Although the retrograde of Mars occurred near the ecliptic, in the sidereal sign of Scorpio and in the constellation of Ophiuchus, it aligned with the head of Hercules which lies quite north of the ecliptic. Pallas, on the other hand is quite north of the ecliptic, making its retrograde path in the constellation of Hercules. Visiting the God-Man personally, Pallas began her retrograde in early April, almost touching this wondrous star of the God Man. The Pallas retrograde period provided an opportunity to gain a balanced perspective of human struggle, to gain a greater understanding of and compassion for the human condition. From the Head of Hercules, Pallas caresses the torso of the Godman in her retrograde path. Now she returns in direct motion, aligning with Kornephoros, Beta Hercules, the shoulder of the Godman.
 

Love with the Power of One Million Stars

    As Pallas goes forth from her retrograde in Hercules and infuses the qualities of Kornephoros, we find a powerful maturing of this feminine Pallas principle. We are asked to give up lower, emotionally confused judgemental attitudes for compassionate participation in a greater spiritual maturity. We realize the purpose for our experience on both sides of the fence is to help each other from compassionate wisdom rather than judge each other for being lost and awry in the human condition--a condition in which we all have been entrapped.
     Kornephoros, the shoulder of Hercules, is the responsibility of Hercules--to aid and support each other through the labors of the human journey. Conjoining the shoulder of Hercules is The Great Hercules Globular Cluster M13. This ball of fire is said to have over one million individual stars. M13 is the superhuman human strength of Hercules, gained from the countless experiences seemingly thrown upon the God-man's earthly path.
     This is our soul strength and wisdom, amalgamated from our innumerable incarnational experiences. Now, thanks to the retrograde of Pallas in Hercules, this strength and wisdom is consciously available to be applied beyond the judgements of duality, in creative solution that supports attainment of our highest--
